Optional tours (Nami Island, DMZ, etc.) are add-ons you can book through us or independently.
Hybrid. City tours are small-group format (typically 10-15 people) for cost efficiency, but you're not traveling with a group 24/7. Free time is genuinely free—no group dinners or mandatory activities. It's structured independence.
November through February for snow season. December has festive vibes and lights; January is coldest with heaviest snow; February offers late-winter deals. Book 2-3 months ahead for better accommodation rates. Avoid Korean New Year (Lunar New Year) unless you want crowds and closed shops.
City tours follow set routes for logistical reasons, but you can opt out and explore independently if specific stops don't interest you. For fully customized itineraries, contact us about private tour upgrades—we build those too, just at different pricing.
Layers are religion. Korea has heated everything (rooms, buses, subas) so you'll constantly be peeling clothes off indoors. Pack: insulated jacket, thermal underlayers, warm but removable mid-layers, gloves, beanie, scarf, and good walking shoes with grip (Seoul's hills + snow = slippery). Hand warmers sold everywhere for pennies—Koreans live on these.
